Benvo vs Oracle OPERA Cloud

Oracle OPERA Cloud alternative for independent and boutique hotels

OPERA Cloud is the enterprise standard for large hotels and chains, with deep configuration, a broad partner network and decades of hotel history. For an independent or boutique hotel, Benvo covers rooms, front desk and housekeeping for a fraction of the monthly cost and without an implementation project, and adds restaurant, spa and guest messaging that OPERA sells separately or through partners. Large chains with complex distribution and brand standards are still better served by OPERA.

Where Oracle OPERA Cloud is stronger

  • OPERA handles the scale and brand standards of large chains, which Benvo is not built for.
  • Its partner network and open APIs connect to almost every hotel system in use.
  • Many hotel staff already know OPERA from previous jobs, which shortens training.
